Product Description: 3M Xtract™ Hookit™ Low Profile Back-up Pads are firm yet flexible to provide versatility for flat sanding applications and are designed to securely hold a 3M Xtract™ Hookit™ Disc on a random orbital sander (sold separately). Part of the 3M Xtract™ Series, designed for optimal dust removal, , enabling a vacuum to extract dust off the workpiece to prolong disc life and enhance productivity. Use this back-up pad with coarse grades where good leveling is needed.
For Aggressive Flat Sanding Constructed from firm density foam with a 35-degree blunt tapered edge for added durability, our 3M Xtract(TM) Hookit(TM) Low Profile Back-up Pads are ideal for aggressive flat sanding operations. Science of Dust Management Our proprietary multi-hole pattern works with a vacuum to help eliminate dust from the disc, workpiece and air. Sandpaper discs cut better and last longer when dust isnÂ’t loading the cutting surface of the abrasives. Reducing dust is easier than ever with 3M Xtract™ Discs, designed for optimal dust removal. For maximum dust extraction, use this disc with a 3M Xtract™ Hookit™ Back-up pad and a random orbital sander with vacuum (both sold separately).
